Environmental Communication Options (ECO) is an environmental relations firm specializing in energy, environment and natural resources issues. For 30 years, Don Huff, ECO’s president has been working with environmental non-profit organizations, community groups, government agencies, associations, private sector firms and First Nations to develop and deliver successful programs and campaigns. At ECO, we help clients develop reputation as environmental leaders by creating strategic initiatives, managing evolving public and media relation issues and ensuring client participation in environmental policy and legislative matters. Client success reflects our specialization in environmental relations – a dynamic synthesis of strategic communication counsel, media/public relations and technical knowledge of energy, environment and natural resource issues. Don is also the co-owner of First Nations firm, PENASI Communications Inc. PENASI is a boutique consultancy that offers a focused approach to First Nations public relations and strategic counsel.

TheCodeFactory

TheCodeFactory is a social venture whose mission is to create wealth and value for the local economy. We do this by leveraging the strengths and talent that exist locally to improve the probability of success and rate of growth of new knowledge based businesses. While our focus is knowledge based companies TheCodeFactory is an open and inclusive environment adhering to the open source principles of; open transparent and meritous. The Code Factory is a collaborative co-working space in downtown Ottawa. We have the relaxed and informal feel of a coffee shop with the excitement and enthusiasm of entrepreneurs at work. We provide a relaxed environment to work, connect and collaborate. A lot of the people who make up the Code Factory community just got tired of working at home all the time. The Code Factory offers four types of workspace: drop-in, personal hot-desks, shared offices and private offices. Our space is also available for meetings of two to 15 people in our custom built board room and up to 80 in the main space.

Robert is a green energy and business lawyer based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He provides professional legal services for individuals, community organizations and businesses. Robert established his practice in response to the global push towards a low-carbon economy and a greater local focus on sustainable business practices. He counsels on the creation, structuring, negotiation and implementation of renewable energy projects and other green initiatives. Besides working to provide energetic legal counsel, he is also prepared to advise clients on these emerging legal and economic trends.
