Tiffinday is a social purpose business that delivers delicious, freshly made sustainable lunches in reusable stainless steel containers, called Tiffins, which are collected back the next day, leaving no litter behind for the garbage or recycling pipelines. Our meals and services are ideal for busy people who frequently eat at their desks, and for small business luncheons. We exclusively hire people who face barriers to employment, providing them with the means to earn a meaningful living by first hiring them to deliver the meals and then gradually training them in the business skills needed to become franchise owners.

La Siembra Co-operative

La Siembra Co-operative, based in the Ottawa-Gatineau region of Canada, was founded in 1999 with the goal of reconnecting consumers with farmers in a sustainable manner. Our name La Siembra means “sowing” or “planting time” in Spanish. It is also a symbol for the seeds of change that our co-operative is sowing through its fair trade, educational and co-operative activities.

Lemon & Allspice Cookery

Lemon & Allspice Cookery is a Toronto food catering service operated by a business partnership of people with intellectual disabilities. Established in 1998, the cookery is based in a commercial kitchen and employs 15 individuals. It provides catering to businesses and community groups and sell its products at several retail outlets in Toronto. Lemon & Allspice Cookery is part of the Common Ground Cooperative Inc - an incorporated, non-profit, co-operative service organization, without share capital, promoting the establishment of self-employment initiatives for people with developmental disabilities.
